Syskonen Källssons Christmas cake
Syskonen Källssons Christmas cake is a Swedish recipe that is perfect to make now around Christmas time.

Ingredients (around 30)
150g/5¼oz butter
200ml/7fl oz granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla sugar
200ml/7fl oz wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
200ml/7fl oz nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds)
Preparation method
Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
Beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Add the eggs, sifted cocoa and vanilla sugar and stir it all together.
Mix flour and baking powder and stir into it.
Spread the batter on a baking sheet in a roasting pan, 25x35cm.
Chop the nuts and sprinkle them over the batter.
Let it bake in the middle of the oven for around 15 minutes. Cut it into squares while it is still warm.
