Peanut Cookies

Have you ever tried to make peanut cookies before? These taste delicious and come highly recommended for Christmas!

Here is the recipe. Good luck!

Ingredients

75g/2 3/4oz baking margarine
300ml/10 1/2fl oz oatmeal
200ml/7fl oz caster sugar
1 egg
2tbs plain (wheat) flour
1ts baking powder
1ts cocoa powder
1ts vanilla sugar
250g/8oz salted peanuts

Preparation method

Mix the baking margarine and sugar together until white. Then you add the egg.

Add and mix in the oatmeal, flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar and the peanuts.

Use 2 teaspoons to make small “lumps” which you then place on a baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas6.

Bake them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. When they are done, put them on a wire rack for cooling.

These cookies are best stored in an airtight box.
