visits Mercado Central de Valencia – Part 1 have visited the well known market in Valencia, Spain.

Mercado Central de Valencia is located right in the middle of Valencia city center and is one of the largest and most exciting food markets in Europe.

Mercado Central was built in 1928 and was later restored in 2004. The market has in recent years become very famous after a video was posted on YouTube, where opera singers dressed as market stall holders, suddently began to sing.

There are more than 1000 stalls selling all kinds of seafood, meat, fruits and vegetables.

Many restaurants in Valencia make their purchases at the Mercado Central.

The market is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 to 14:30 and closed on Sunday.

At the market you will find all types of fruits and berries, including some tasty cherries.

You can also find all kinds of chilli and jalapenos.

You can also find lots of dried fruits and nuts!
