Grilled Oregano and Parmesan Tomatoes

Parmesan, fresh oregano and a little olive oil is everything needed to transform tomatoes into the perfect side dish.

We can also recommend you to try having these on a slice of bread, it tastes great.

Summertime is fantastic and this side dish you can easily make on your grill.

Ingredients (side dish for 4)

4 tomatoes
120ml/4fl oz freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp finely chopped fresh oregano
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
8 tsp extra-virgin olive oil

Preparation method

Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally.

Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet with the cut-side up.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper.

Put them in the oven on 225C/450F and bake for about 13 minutes, until the tomatoes are tender. Or you can do what we do, put them on the grill.
