Gorgonzola & Spinach Spaghetti

This is a simple recipe for a classic Gorgonzola and spinach spaghetti, a great combination. Takes just around 15 minutes to make.

Ingredients (Serves 3-4)

250g/9oz young leaf spinach, trimmed
400g/14oz dried spaghetti
salt and pepper
30g/1oz butter
120g/4oz Gorgonzola cheese, diced
90ml/3fl oz milk

Preparation method

Add the spaghetti to a pot of boiling salted water and cook until al dente.

Wash the spinach and put it into a large pan over medium heat with the water clinging to the leaves. Stir for 2-3 minutes until wilted.

Add the butter, milk and diced Gorgonzola to the spinach and stir until the cheese has melted.

If you love Gorgonzola, feel free to add more to the sauce.

Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.

Serve onto warm plates and enjoy! Boun appetito!
