Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Thyme

We will show you how to make heavenly mashed potatoes using cream, garlic, thyme, butter, salt and pepper.
Ingredients
1kg/2¼lb floury potatoes, peeled and cubed
100ml/3¾fl oz double cream
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2tbsp finely chopped thyme
2tbsp butter
Salt
Pepper
Preparation method
Peel the potatoes. Cut them into smaller pieces (cubes), that will reduce the cooking time.
Then boil the potatoes in unsalted water until tender.
When the potatoes are tender, drain the water. Use a potato masher to mash potatoes until well mashed. Then you add the cream, butter, finely chopped garlic and thyme and mix it all together.
Salt and pepper to taste.
